About CGA New Brunswick

THE CERTIFIED GENERAL ACCOUNTANTS ASSOCIATION OF NEW BRUNSWICK is a self regulating professional body affiliated with 60,500 members and students of the Certified General Accountants' Association of Canada. All certified members have met the Association's requirements of professional competency, are bound to a uniform standard of conduct, and are entitled to use the designation "CGA".

Internationally recognised, CGA is a full partner in several accounting organizations including: the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants; the International Federation of Accountants Council; and the International Accounting Standards Committee Canadian Advisory Group.

Incorporated in 1962, CGA-NB represents CGAs and CGA students employed in all sectors of the economy and occupying key financial management, accounting, auditing, and taxation positions in business, government and public practice. As well, THE CERTIFIED GENERAL ACCOUNTANTS ACT, 1986 entitles a member to engage in and carry on the practice of public accounting and public auditing in the Province of New-Brunswick.
